It will come as no surprise that Brendan GM0BWR has won the tidy shack contest for the 10th year in a row.Hugh GM4UYE came a close second with his imaginative use of space in a small shack but in the end Brendan,s colour co-ordinated accessories swayed the judges.

Guilty as charged of the tidy shack. (See attached picture) Who cares about working them, as long as the shack is tidy with no unsightly cables or WHITE POWER SUPPLIES in view. So club members, get your act together and start organising those shacks or Kim and Agie will be round to see you.

Well done Hugh...good example of a multi-hobby shack. More than Amateur Radio going down there. Jim was right, good use of a confined space.
Hope we see more pictures of shacks on this thread.

Well done Jim, good picture of the shack. All thats required is a bit 3'x4' section of hardboard at the back to hide those cables.
Come on lads keep the pictures coming. Wullie (MZB) how about your den?

guys can ou try and keep the size of the imagies below 150k as its slowing down this thread and also maybe save them as a gif
all pics have been edited by John BSG
and should now load quicker

preferred format GIF
Preferred size 1024 x 768 pixels
Sorry to anyone if the images are not so cool, but problems to load as the page was loading nearly 1 meg of data to display all thumbnails
As a gif @ 1024 x 768 you should get an image size of about 500k or so.
The file size of the images above are not reported correctly, so don't think you are being picked on, they were all edited by me to around 100k 8)

It scares me when a see a tidy shack.....
Shacks are not meant to be tidy - this is my den - my space -
everything out of place yet I know just where everything is.
I would take a picture of my shack if I could just find my camera!!
