Hello All, I am looking forward to the weekend.:bounce Bill i was thinking and also spoke to (IPOD) about the grub situation and i think it best for everyone to bring there own.:geek I dont think you should be putting yourself out with food as you have enough on your plate :puke(Hee Hee).
It is probably best you discuss with the guys on Thursday and see what the thoughts of the other guys are. Yes bring the stove for T Coffee etc but i dont think you or the YL:bigg should go to all the trouble of buying and bringing all the food. I think it if anyone wants anything hot on the day they could bring there own burgers etc.
See you on Satuarday @ the club. I will be up in the afternoon to load the van. Going out on Friday night so might be a tad late depending on the alchohol consumed..

Hi Guys As you will all be aware I cannot make this event. But could I remember you all that this is the home of the most vicious breed of midge that can be found in Scotland. So take care get Bill and Gerry to puff as much as they can to save the expedition. RAB:joke

The van is now mostly loaded with aerials etc. We have a makeshift table installed and this will fit three people two operating and one logging. I will bring along my laptop and hopefully get a connection with the dongle, this will give us the cluster all going well.
The battery’s are on charge in the club house and will need to be loaded in the morning. If there is anyone in the local area tomorrow morning around 10.30 to help John BSG load the batt’s this would be a big help. Failing that Frank HST and I will go over.
We are also looking for anyone attending with a van and roof rack or a big car and roof rack could also help by taking two masts up to sheilbrae. Failing that if anyone can run john BSG back to get his car he is willing to put the masts on his roof rack and transport them to the site (good guy). At the end of the day the masts will be cut in half and will fit in the van for transport back to the club. However this will mean we are a driver short to drive the van back as well so even a driver would help. That said these are not big problems and can be overcome by some double running.
Hope to see you all there

Thanks to everyone who turned up today and made it a fun and enjoyable event. a few individuals went up and beyond the call of duty i:e Bill, Janice and Gerry were dishing out food as if it was going out of fashion. John BSG for the loan of the van and the gazebo, Mark my nephew for baking the carrot cake. Although there were to many to name individuality every one played a key role. Even Gaza (2m0use) showed up for a spell. Thanks for a great day out. Ally and Frank.
