Hi guys just been given one ok its a volt meter but whats it origin is it ..old or what .

ps also given a FT840 any good as still in box, also a TS700 i take it this is a very old 2m rig plus lots of other bits and bobs. home sunday night from Ireland cant what to see whats in the other box or two

The FT840 was a nice radio, the 700 was in 2 models I think, one had a dial display and one a digital display.

Either way due to the age you should keep them active. At least if they need a fix the technology used in them its fixable (nlike those now where you need a degree in emebedded s/w and a big magnifier :icon_roll )
