Heads up for the next few days.
K index reached 9 earlier today.
Huge sunspot has unleashed 7 X-flares over 3 days!
Propagation/conditions are busted:eek:

yes been a few major flares over last few days
last night saw a good aurora on 6m and the visual aurora was good from the islands on Friday night on of the 6m ops took a few photos and it was great.
On 6m the Lerwick beacon is Aurora sounding but weak at 52a on 50064 cw
hopefully some AUE`s later as well

AURORA ALERT! A coronal mass ejection (CME) is racing toward Earth and it could spark a severe geomagnetic storm when it arrives--perhaps tonight (Sept. 14th and 15th). People everywhere should be alert for auroras.
