The repeater has drifted off frequency by about 4KHz on transmitt :scratch so if I get a chance today I will install one of the spare Taits and give the Storno a well deserved overhall and rest :chee

You will know it has been changed as the Tait sounds completly different :scratch

Hi All.

I ordered a new set of xtals for the Storno, which arrived last week.
The Xtals were installed and the Strono was re-alligned but in my opinion the Storno box is too old and unstable to be returned to service :sad:.so I think we should retire it from service and continue to use the Tait 800 which is currently in use at the site.
The Storno had done it's service to both the PMR and Ham users, it's over 30 years old and it was used for GB3OH since 1995 so it has us all well :chee.
