Comrades, just a point of interest that may get you GM6NX club members interested in chipping in with the 80mm RSGB Club Championships monthly contest. Any club member can take part from their home QTH and the log contributes to the GM6NX running total. Currently we are sitting 51st which is ok considering it's just by operating the GM6NX on the night with no member logs as extras. Good news !! I have finally managed to get in contact with the owner of Portnalong Bunkhouse despite the numerous emails and phonecalls. Strange how we were talking about it last night in the boozer and then first thing he called me !! All is ok with our booking. The cheque for our deposit will be winging its way to him early next week. Game on as before. J
