Hi

I was introduced to this project by Colin Brown GM0RLZ as he has already started 2 sets himself and he is doing a pretty nice job.

Its a really nice compact solution and has a lot of contributors.

So I thought I might blog its progress over the next month or so and if anyone else is interested to help out and get some SMT assembly practice please let me know.

When finished it will be installed beside my Pro II for daily use.

RSGB 80M Club Championships

Well first attempt went actually quite well, its amazing how fast the times goes with radio and good company.

Pictures are attached of the activists (Jonathan was hiding to the right ;-) )

What was going down today

Well, managed to tidy some things up, helped out with a mic wiring job ( old 2M SSB radio 4 pin wiring), make the bacon sarnies, fitted a new cartridge to the HP laser and brought computer up to date.

And I eventually managed to get the damn side bar to work, talk about making life hard, geeze.

Then i claned up the garage in prep for some work on the microwave links, will need a good cleaning in advance but should be ok.
